Artists in the Library

Deadline: September 19, 2019

Program Guidelines will be added 3 months prior to deadline date.

This initiative was created in 2014, as a partnership between Toronto Arts Council and Toronto Public Library. Artists in the Library is an artist residency program intended to create new collaborative opportunities for Toronto artists and increase arts access in underserved communities by animating libraries in Etobicoke, North York and Scarborough.

Shameless runs on 100% volunteer power and is supported by a community of very awesome women and trans people. Are you interested in writing, making or organizing with us? There are a few ways to get involved.

Mental health issues related to the culture of masculinity

Mental health issues specific to LGBTQ+ people 

Each selected proposal will receive $5,000 to create a five-minute film, access to our acclaimed panel of subject matter experts and filmmakers for advice, and support from the AWI team throughout the filmmaking process.

All submissions are due by October 15, 2019.
